New destinations and new pricing structure solidifies DHH’s place as premier Destination Club

Distinctive Holiday Homes, named as “one of the most diverse and exclusive collections of homes in the Destination Club industry”*, have emerged as also having the best availability across the industry, with 76 per cent availability for the remainder of 2008 and an astounding 99 per cent for 2009.

The Club also boasts one of the best Destination-to-Member ratios, globally.

And the US$30 million portfolio of 12 destinations has a new addition- a near 4000 sq-ft, 4 bedroom home on the Island of O’ahu, Hawaii.

“We have and will continue to add new premier Destinations as we add Members. This means that Members are not only able to secure the vacations they want, when and where they want them, but they also have near-unlimited opportunity to pick up
additional vacation days at short notice, over and above your confirmed Membership days,” says DHH founder and CEO, Nick Wood

Distinctive Holiday Homes’ latest Destination is open for bookings starting 15th September this year. This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is located just a few hundred feet from the fantastic beach in Lanakai, Hawaii.

A genuine beach house, this sumptuous home has a lava-rock pool, a waterfall blending into the tropical surrounds, huge living and entertaining spaces and a large dining room that looks out over the pool and garden.The property comes equipped with a BMW X5 and a Mustang convertible, and all the beach-related toys you would expect for Hawaii.

A fantastic one and a half bedroom condominium in Times Square on Broadway in New York will be ready for Members to stay in late October.

The new DHH residence on Island of O’ahu, Hawaii is undergoing a DHH transformation. New photos depicting DHH’s signature touch to the exterior and interiors will become available prior to the destination coming online September 15, 2008.

Other Destinations to be added in the near term, include: London, UK; Provence, France; St Maarten, Caribbean; and Sydney, Australia.

Reflecting recent growth in Membership and Destinations, Distinctive Holiday Homes will, from September 1st 2008, implement updates and price increases to our current range of Membership Plans.

For ultimate flexibility, DHH are launching 2, 3 and 4-week Pre Paid Membership Cards, which will replace the current ‘Lite’ (1-week) Annual Membership Plan. These Pre Paid Cards may be used at any time over a 4-year span, they do not incur annual fees and they are non-refundable.

The new ‘Standard’, or 2-week Membership Plan, requires an initial joining deposit of $119,000. All of our other Membership plans will also be incurring changes in their joining deposits and annual dues.

For unsurpassed privilege, the new Elite level of Membership comes with 9 weeks of confirmed vacation time each year. Members of an Elite Plan may book Destinations up to 3 years in advance of arrival, versus the normal 2 years, and will have the ability to transfer up to 21 days forward or backward a year. This new Plan requires a $499,000 initial joining deposit and $49,900 in annual dues.

“All out Members receive an unsurpassed level of service, including their own personal Concierge at every Destination, to ensure relaxing, restful and responsibility-free holidays. We cater to everything from luxury cars waiting for them at the residence to stocking the Destination with their preferred gourmet food and beverages, all inclusive with the cost of Membership. Members also receive access to Bombardier Skyjet hours that may be purchased by the hour and complimentary Membership to an exclusive global concierge service, providing them with access to this elite service even when they are not travelling or staying with DHH”, adds Wood.

DHH Destinations include a private beachfront lodge in Fiji; two yachts; a 17th century Tuscan country villa; a third floor apartment in the heart of Paris; a 4-storey, 7,000 sq ft property in Beaver Creek, Colorado; a 4,500 sq ft lodge in the New Zealand ski fields and many more.

It's nice to see DHH choosing unique locations. Lanikai is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Hawaiian islands. Although there aren't big name resorts/amenities in that area, and it is primarily residential, the beach and the views are enough to keep many happy.
