Club: High Country Club | Does anyone know about increased fees for all current PE members? I have been in touch with membership specialists from PE and UR over the last couple of months and now that they have merged I am getting different info from each side. The PE rep says that nothing will change , still have nightly fees but overall no change. The UR rep says that I have to join the current UE pricing plans because all PE legacy members are going to have to pay a significant fee in order to stay in UE or use UR properties. She is very vague about the specifics. I have been comparing PE , UR, and HCC over the past couple of months and I have been very concerned with the miscommunication or lack of communication from PE. I have been much more impressed with HCC professionalism.PE has more availability so I was taking a closer look but I am nervous to join a club when I am getting different info from 2 people who work for the same club. Maybe this is just merger confusion but it doesn't sit right with me. |

Club: Ultimate Escapes Signature | Kd, PE and UR have been jockeying for members heading into the merger. I would imagine it's because the merger terms are based on how many members each club brings to the table. So you have seen aggressive campaigns (The Buscadora freebie promo at PE, the free level upgrade at UR, etc.) from each club. It's why PE has been pitching the PE Legacy program (which ends this week, I believe) while UR would prefer you join through them. There should NOT be a material change in fees. The UR annual fee is higher, but that is because it covers the fixed number of nights within each plan. PE has a much lower annual fee, and then you pay per night. PE members, and prospective PE members, have been marketed as having unlimited nights, so that is unlikely to change as the PE offering until the PE Legacy program closes. As a PE member, I can assure you that I have had no problem booking several of the UR properties this week under my existing PE terms. No fee changes whatsoever. I suggest you call your PE rep, and explain what UR told you. Whether it's merger confusion or both clubs trying to be the one to get you on their rolls, if the PE legacy plan interests you more than the new UE plan, then you need to be calling Fort Collins instead of Orlando (or vice versa). |

Club: UE Signature | I suggest you also call Steve Healy at UE side personally and ask him what's up. He is SVP Membership/Sales & Marketing. I think there is a short window where there maybe 2 different set of terms to join UE but suspect it will close and they will try to migrate as many people to a unified plan as possible. They have some experience with T&H doing this succesfully in a much more diificult environment and serving quite well the membership |

Club: Ultimate Escapes Signature | Exactly. And I don't blame the UR rep for not fully grasping the terms of PE Legacy memberships, because it is something that is about to end on the marketing side and has never been sold outside of Fort Collins. |

Club: Ultimate Escapes | Yes they do. And here I am, signed, sealed, delivered! And dates held on the calendar already!! This news about unification is a bit scary but I am confident the Legacy members won't lose their rights (even if it is only a 1 day legacy for some!) Sandman |
