Club: High Country Club | There seems to be some very different information being presented on this site - stories of 7 month waiting periods to resign, confusion about plans, issues over variations in plans, issues about go-forward positions after the merger. So what's are people really experiencing - is it working? Are you considering resigning? Is this a scary time to consider joining? Is there clarity around any of this? |

Club: UE - Signature | Still very happy at UE. Some issues with merger getting closed that were annoying, but access to new properties has been great and combined capital position and overall marketing strength is much stronger. Interested to hear DC4MS interview with new CEO - as he had a lot of time with him the other day. |

Club: UE Signature | I am happy too. I think the 7 month issue was PE pre-close of deal/merger related issue and even the merger communications are improving. Can't wait to see the Jim interview report. |

Club: High Country Club | We were one of those who were scared off by the confusion. We were looking into UE premiere level and we began our research in March. We heard so many different stories about plans and post merger changes from the PE and UR reps. We started with a rep from PE and one from UR then our rep from PE left the company and we had a new PE rep, then post merger a brand new UE rep called us out of the blue. So we had a total of 4 reps all telling us different stories. I do not blame the reps for misinformation because I felt that they truly didn't know what was going to happen. But we didn't feel comfortable joining until the kinks are worked out and we also felt strongly that the signature level was going to be the "favored" tier. We ended up joining HCC last week and are confident that we made the right decision for us for now. We are going to watch UE closely to see what unfolds and who knows, maybe add a second membership down the road! Good luck figuring it all out! |

Club: Ultimate Escapes Signature | I'm happy as a clam, though like others did a little soul-searching and head-scratching as the merger delays mounted. The merger has been a rough process. It's still a rough process, even after its completion (as I think we're now a month late on the "town hall meetings" that were supposed to take place last month). A lot of the plan confusion and membership director crossfire that built to a crescendo last month appears to be fading away. It's just the UE plans being sold now. Gradually, the sales team should improve as everyone gets on the same page. However, those marketing hiccups -- whether you accept them as normal during the largest merger in DC history or not -- have not impacted the member-facing operations. Availability is respectable. The homes/hosts/amenities are still great. I'll be in my first home from the UR side in two days, with two more in the next two months. I'll see how things compare then. |

Club: Ultimate Escapes Elite | All is well. I would join again. Our vacations have been spectacular since joing UE. I think Jim T. is a man of character. Of course, joining a DC is a leap of faith and you basically need to decide that managemnent is competent and not out to screw you. ER is very successful because everyone knows Steve Case and his past accomplishmnets. I think the A&K will do ok because of their history and owners. For UE to continue to prosper I think Jim needs to toot his own horn and begin talking more about his history and the financial stability of the company. |

| Steve Case's past "accomplishments" were well-documented in "Fools Rush In." |
