| The UE roadshow is making a stop in Toronto in July co-sponsored with Amex with a 7-9 p.m. cocktail party and presentation. DC's have been getting much more aggressive in Canada now that the dollar is about par and the economy in better shape. Is this something new? Maybe they're buying a few condos in the new Ritz Carlton, Trump, Four Seasons, etc. under construction right now in Toronto. ![]() Trump Toronto: http://www.trumptowertoronto.com/tor...ower_large.jpg Ritz Carlton Toronto: http://www.ellisdon.com/_lib/img/prj/3088775.1.l.jpg Shangri La Toronto: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3187/...8331b21d_b.jpg Little town of Toronto: http://www.upside-down.ca/maldive/finallowrez.jpg Last edited by pwrshift; 06-10-2008 at 11:30 PM. |

I have been to a few ER events and they are very well done. I would love to have a DC4MS user attend and post some comments. | |

| Here's another one I forgot and suspect they would sell to a DC organization as they still haven't 'sold out' yet...probably quite seasonable, but the prices for 1-3 bdrm suites might be very attractive...for what is probably the most upscale 'cottage' area of Canada. The first JW in Canada. Home - Red Leaves | Lake Rosseau, Muskoka I have been invited to attend the UE event in Toronto but may have a date conflict to work out first. |

Club: High Country Club | I looked at Red Leaves quite seriously but you're basically stuck with two months of "real" usage being July and August with some in Sept to as late as Thanksgiving (Canadian that is) in Oct. Black flies kill May and June usage and winter use...naaa I've noticed a marked increase in marketing to Canadians for real estate based on our more stable economy (at least today), the higher dollar and our property values are less prone to wild fluctuations (leaving Calgary aside). |
