Default Ultimate Resort - banner ad on LuxuryLink.com

I was surfing the Internet and was checking out LuxuryLink for something interesting in the USA & Canada section when I saw an ad for Ultimate Resort being prominently displayed.

Very interesting....and very well done.

USA & Canada Luxury Hotel and Cruise Destinations

There was also a smaller banner ad for HeliumReport on the left side under Luxury Marketplace that takes you to the Halogen Guide - Vacation Club Decision Guide

I've noticed DC ads on surprising websites recently. For example, I've seen Lusso ads on random sports websites that I frequent. I now suspect that Google and Yahoo keep track of searches or websites that you frequent and tailor your ads accordingly with affiliated websites.

Yes, I saw a Lusso ad on Yahoo! and figured that it was just the cookies and search history that resulted in the ad. Either way, it's good to see the industry in member recruitment mode, since I was starting to wonder why the ads were drying up in the Wall Street Journal real estate sections from the usual suspects.

Love the Luxury Link site .. thanks. Saw a number of hotels I've already enjoyed and a bunch more that I'm anxious to try.
