Club: UE Signature, HCC, Freedom Yacht Club | Wow - those prices seem awfully high; $1800 per night for a $1.5M home, with holidays excluded unless space available w/i 30 days, and even non-holiday reservations that can only be booked 180 days in advance... I'd be shocked if many people sign up, especially since people could 'trial' a HCC $1.5M flagship property for < $500 per night with 365 day advance reservations (by joining as a 'companion member' and getting a 100% refund on your deposit of you didn't like it), or could trial a DHH $2.5M property for $750 a night... |

Club: ER, HCC Corporate, DHH Lite, Bud Lite (A few too many) | I agree that the prices seem too high. I also don't understand the 30 and 45 day "trials". I think by the 15th day you would know if this was for you or not. |

Club: HCC | I'm with LT on this. I don't think this is so much as a "trial" but more or less renting to the public. What's the differwence between this and VRBO? In this case I'll get some perks and a sales pitch from UR and that's it. Don't get me wrong, I like some of their properties a lot but not at these rates. |

Club: Ultimate Elite | I am a UR member and I don't care for it as well. It seems to just exacerbate a less than desireable situation with shorter term space available capacity. |

Club: Ultimate Escapes Elite | As I see it it is a short-term disposable membership for UR to get cash before the merger and close as many members as they can. They give some days over the next 2 years in turn for cash now that has no liability (not refundable) with it. They don't even collect annual fees -- it's just set number of days at a set price all paid in advance. As I read it, you don't even get to apply the payment to your membership fee in two years. I don't like this at all. |

Club: HCC | Hm, to summarize it is a "pre-paid" calling card for vacation homes? |

| Once UR merges with PE they will be lowering their price to $13,000 (adding a lower tier to make 3 altogether) with Discovery Membership and the additional (more than 15) nightly cost to $750. The 15 nights is for a 2 year period - if you use them all the first year you cqn 'buy' more nights at $750 ea. If you don't use the 15 nights within the 2 years you can carry them forward into the next year. You can extend your membership after your 2 years or merge it all in with 'current' membership prices at the tier level you want. If you resign your regular membership you get 80% of the then current membership fee back and it stands to reason that, after a few years, it will exceed your original buy-in price. |
