Default Ultimate Resort - May 2008 e-mail

I received this e-mail today from Ultimate Resort.

I like the salutation at the end of the e-mail....."ultimate regards".....very clever!

Several exciting developments are taking place with Ultimate Resort and I wanted to give you an update.

Properties and Destinations Multiply
The Club’s portfolio of destinations and properties is growing rapidly. New homes have now been added in Lake Tahoe, Key West, Indian Rocks, Lake Las Vegas, and Beaver Creek. Additionally, due to high member demand, our Ultimate Resort Collection has now been expanded to over 130 hotels around the world – members have flexible access to luxury hotels located in major resorts and cities throughout the US, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, South America and Central America.

Ultimate Resort Partnerships Expand to Europe
Ultimate Resort has been named the exclusive destination club of University College London (UCL), one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Graduates from UCL closely mirror the profile of the typical Ultimate Resort member. UCL boasts a base of very affluent graduates that reside world-wide throughout the UK, Western Europe, and the United States. According to a recent club member survey, the typical Ultimate Resort member is affluent, well-educated, and well-traveled.
Through this exclusive partnership, Ultimate Resort can reach even more of an international audience, especially with the club’s planned expansion into more European destinations including Tuscany, Rome and Ireland. An ever-expanding worldwide network of more than 120,000 University College London alumni helps to maintain the university's international reputation for access, innovation and excellence.

Private Online Tours Given
When our members were considering a Destination Club they found that taking our brief online tour of our Members Only web site was the fastest and easiest way to decide if Ultimate Resort fit their vacation lifestyle. This tour will give you the chance to see all of the Club residences, learn more about the services and amenities you will experience as a member, and view availability during the times you tend to travel. Contact me now for a private online to see if Ultimate Resort is right for you.

I look forward to speaking with you!

Ultimate regards,

FYI for newcomers, their resort collection is a partnership with worldhotels and has some fairly valuable suites available in say monaco for example.

Has anyone figured out if the resort collection is worth it on a cost per night basis vs booking directly with the hotel?
