Club: DC4MS.com | Perhaps a Destination Club will consider adding a home at this awesome location. Inaugural Property Release Announced The Cliffs is excited to announce the inaugural property release at The Cliffs at High Carolina. This highly anticipated event is scheduled for November 8th and we're already receiving an overwhelming response. Replete with high mountain meadows, natural springs, tumbling waterfalls, miles of mountain trails, and the majestic sense of being on top of the world, few destinations deliver the degree of awe and inspiration of High Carolina. Another Tiger Triumph Given the beauty of its natural surrounds, it is no wonder that Tiger Woods has chosen to create his first American golf course at High Carolina. "When I first got to the top of the mountain and looked across those meadows, I knew The Cliffs at High Carolina was the place for my first American design," says the undisputed world's number one golfer. "The chance to work with Jim and The Cliffs team made the decision to design my first course here that much easier. I am confident The Cliffs at High Carolina will be a truly remarkable community I can share with family and friends, and enjoy for years to come. A place where I know we'll always feel at home." The Tiger Woods-designed course will serve as a jewel of the community and a tremendous addition to The Cliffs unrivaled collection of world-class golf courses across its eight communities. Club: High Country Club, Exclusive Resorts | Given that Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited national park in the U.S., and DCs don't as a rule have East Coast properties, a property in this locale would be a great idea. The Asheville area in particular has a number of luxury properties and homes, so a DC shouldn't be at a loss to find something upscale enough. |

Club: DC4MS.com | I would be happy to offer my services as a "consultant" for any Destination Club that wants to explore buying into this area. ![]() I really like this area during the spring, summer, and fall months. Even Christmas and New Year are popular. |

Club: LUSSO Collection | I think you will need a southerner's view, too... count me in on that consulting gig! However, I don't do humidity in the summer... I vote for a fall or spring visit!Has anyone found (or gotten) pricing on that development?

I contacted them them a few months ago to "personally" inquire about pre-construction opportunities at the new Tiger Woods property and they seem to be bending over backwards to get me to visit. I really like the Blue Ridge Mountains area and have visited many times in the past and may even "retire" in that area. Thus, my interest is in a summer vacation and possibly retirement home. Seriously, I think there should be a Destination Club present in this area as it "may" be better that Reynolds Plantation or Kiawah Island.

Club: The Veras Group, LLC | I couldn't agree more. The Carolina mountains in general is a popular and as yet undeveloped area for a lot of members. In fact, I worked with a gentleman from California who flew out to the area to his home 3-4 times a year and said he would sell his home and buy a membership at any club that bought nearby. Destinations with "regional" appeal, in general, I think, tend to be good sales properties. Members from the Northeast love having locations like Newport, RI, Stowe, VT, etc. The Florida Panhandle is hugely popular with the members I know from Louisiana, Dallas, and all over the interior SE states. A good balanced portfolio certainly is attractive for many, but these regional destinations can really seal the deal.

Club: High Country Club, Exclusive Resorts | Here's hoping the DCs are reading these comments and taking them seriously! I don't know how many people from Colorado know that the Asheville/Smoky Mts. area can be very upscale-- it isn't just Pigeon Forge and Dollywood! It seems like all of the DCs seem to move like lemmings to the same locations. (Potential customer: "Do you have Caymans? Your competitor does!") Living in GA, even I'll admit Reynolds Plantation is a mistake, but the Blue Ridge mountains are not. I'm afraid DCs will look at the occupancy of a place like Reynolds Plantation and conclude that the market for another property in the area isn't there. |

I reviewed the Private Escapes (now Ultimate Escapes) home at Reynolds Plantation and it was an extremely nice home ($1.5m range). However, I personally would prefer the Blue Ridge Mountains to Reynolds Plantation.

Club: HCC | The cliffs looks like a very nice area. I'd be interested in seeing a few DCs pick up some nice places on GCs. |

Club: High Country Club, Exclusive Resorts | I was under the impression that the Reynolds Plantation wasn't being fully utilized. If I'm mistaken, then I retract my statement and it's more evidence that East Coast properties are needed. |
