Default Clothing optional Destination Club

Now that a clothing optional timeshare may be in the works, does anyone think a destination club follow this trend?

The Shadow Knows
August 22nd, 2008

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows…. Bwaaahahahahaha…Let’s Get Naked!

There are rumblings once again that the Mira Vista Resort just south of Tucson, Arizona, which once catered to the gay, lesb*** and transgender traveling crowd, may soon be offering a 115 unit ‘clothing-optional’ timeshare resort.

The Mira Vista Resort has a rich and long history dating back to the 1850’s, beginning “as a stagecoach stop on the Butterfield Line, originally a mail delivery/passenger line running from St. Louis to San Francisco (2,700 miles that took approximately 25 days to complete the one-way journey).”

Over the years the property naturally went through many physical and name changes, and a host of celebrities including John Wayne, Greta Garbo, Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, and many others lodged at the ‘dude-ranch’ during the hay day of the Western Movie (and TV) era.

What caught my curiosity about the proposed ‘bare-at-will’ timeshare resort was not just the unique concept of this vacation project but what would the sales, sales management and on-site (assuming they have one) marketing teams be like?

Will they, too, have the option of ‘showing-and-telling’, so to speak?

And who will work at such a place; surely not those who religiously attend church?

Then there is the issue of table ‘drops’ and just what sort of ‘premiums’ will be offered to sales guests in exchange for their time? Surely, this all will have to include some of that niche marketing that I’m always harping on!

I myself am not a prude but in all honesty I believe that for this project to succeed, from a TS marketing and sales perspective, they’ll likely have to find a ‘unique’ S & M (that is sales and marketing) gang not to mention a rather distinctive if not exceptional ‘exchange’ company…

One thing for sure is that whoever does work for the project may, in the future, have a new dimension to add to their resume that could bring a whole new interpretation to those pesky ‘background’ checks and some ‘States’ that have that old moral turpitude question/clause in ‘their’ applications… Well…

Sounds like a perfect second club for Moonboat Bill (aka Steamboat Moon), especially if they have a home in maui...
