Club: LUSSO Collection | OK, let's assume we could each pick a favorite location for a new DC home... where would your choice be? It can be an existing location of a current DC home, or a location that isn't yet on the maps. Me... I'm hoping for Barbados! ![]() And, let's see what the favorite "type" of vacation is among the members here. ![]()

| beachfront in asia! beachfront would always be the winner for me ![]() i think of leisure as countryside, but cruise/yacht seems to fit too. ski-in/ski-out homes for mountain locations. 3BRs in metro locations. properties managed by luxury hotels/resorts. solstice's warapuru villa is pretty cool, but i had been really looking forward to seeing ciel acquire a four seasons bora bora residence. at least ciel only tossed london and cannes and is keeping their MO NY condo.ER hasnt done bad with hotel/resort managed at all, but i would have done it a little differently. |

Club: A&K Residence Club | Beach for me as well. Beachfront or as close as possible to the beach is much better. At a minimum, full resort or beach club access. Like Kag, I'd like to see 3 BR metro locations, as 2BRs make it difficult to bring family or friends. That third bedroom makes a world of difference. |

| This is a great thread and useful to management lurkers. Bora Bora is the most beautiful island in the world and would be my first choice. BTW, Kagehitokiri, how would you have managed the ER hotel/resort properties differently? Are you an ER member? |

| the only DC that really impressed me with properties was ciel. clearly thats partly because of their $10MM budget. four seasons bora bora residences are $10MM and $13MM. i cant imagine anyone else will do a residential development. unfortunately they canceled that large development in fiji (including the rosewood that ER was looking at) with at least aman and ghm also looking at resorts there. im pretty much just watching lusso at the moment. also waiting for my schedule to become more flexible. Club: Exclusive Resorts | Beachfront locations...not in a development "near" the beach! It's irritatating to me that ER is getting rid of beachfront homes/units in exchange for larger homes within driving distance. ![]() |
