Default Kimedia - Destination Club envisioning and referral firm

Kimedia LLC is an envisioning and referral firm focused on the Destination and the Private Residence Club industry.

THE VISION:
Susan Kime, founded Kimedia in 2006 after years of covering the rise of the Destination and Private Residence Club industry for major business and luxury publications. Susan discovered a need for a new kind of envisioning and referral firm. Someone to challenge the pioneers of a new Destination or Private Residence club and help expand their individual visions. Someone to connect them with people, companies, and innovative industry ideas that will serve to make their unique club concept profitable and sustainable.

WHAT WE DO:
We offer envisioning and referral consultation services. With deep roots in the luxury travel and high-end fractional industry and the major media outlets that routinely cover them Kimedia is uniquely aligned to fuse innovators and innovations, propelling the vision of our clientele forward.

Kimedia.net

Susan Kime has a HUGE resume of published articles on Destination Clubs and Fractional Properties.

More Elite Traveler articles, cool.

She seems to be a real go to journalist.

"At present Susan is both a contributor to Helium Report and the Editor-in-Chief of The Travel Connoisseur, a magazine entirely devoted to fractional ownership. Before this, Susan held the post of the Residence Club Update Editor of Elite Traveler Magazine."

I wonder how effective they'll be with this new venture though.. from my recent reading up on Aston Pearl, they might be significantly more capable/experienced in general.

Susan sent me her bio and it is impressive (especially her past travel location)...

Susan Kime’s career combines publishing, editorial, media relations and public relations. She was the Destination Club/Fractional editor for Elite Traveler (2004-2007), and senior club news correspondent for The Robb Report’s Vacation Homes (2004-2007), and contributing editor for The Robb Report, Stratos, Stratos Landings, Luxury Living, European CEO (London), Business Destinations (London), and ARDA Developments, the member-based magazine for the American Resort Development Association.

She was the Editor-in-Chief of Travel Connoisseur, a high end magazine whose main focus is the news and evolution of the private residence and destination club industries, until its closure in November 2007. Her areas of editorial specialization include the high end fractional, destination club – both non-equity and equity-based, the hybrid models and private residence club industries, as well as high end homes and destinations.

Her website is Susan Kime - Luxury Lifestyle Journalist, where a number of recent articles are published. She also is President of KIMEDIA,LLC, a PR/New Media/Envisioning firm, Kimedia.net.

In the past two years, she has traveled to St. Thomas, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Florence, Italy, Munich, New York, San Francisco, Geneva, Rio, Athens, and London, among others. Susan went to India as a guest of the Taj Hotels in late 2006 and wrote about the experience of staying a four Rajah’s Palaces in The Royal Treatment, published in The Robb Report in November 2006. It is also on her website.

She has also written for the Robb Report Collections, and Robb Report Vacation Homes, and traveled widely doing high end destination articles. She then became one of the first journalists to consistently report on the successful emergence of the private residence club industry. Since then, she has written and spoken on its evolution and growth into a 2.5B industry, attributing much of its success to the growing need for family and relationship recalibration and retuning.

She has spoken at various conferences, including the National and International Luxury Real Estate Conference, 2006-2007, The NorthCourse Fractional Interest Conference in Athens, October 2006, The Ragatz Fractional Interest Conference, Spring, 2007, and the First Annual IMN Destination Club and Private Residence Club Symposium in Orlando, 2007. Most recently she spoke at a Wells Fargo Private Banking Symposium in Edina, Minnesota in November 2007.

Regarding new media, she had written multiple site visit articles for The Helium Report (Helium Report | Objective Guide to Luxury Vacation Real Estate & Travel). Spire.com and the Sherpa Report (Destination Clubs & Luxury Fractional Property Guide and Reports - SherpaReport), internet entities dealing with luxury travel, high end fractional products, fractional yachts and jets.
