Club: Exclusive Resorts | Yes, the beachfront condos are for sale. There are some members who love them but I think they must have always been considered interim units until the villas were built. This is what happened in Costa Rica with the 4S homes and will happen in Wailea now that Hoolei is up and running. |

Club: ER, HCC Corporate, DHH Lite, Bud Lite (A few too many) | Some members preferred the beachfront units because it is easier to get to the beach. The actual beach views are OK but not great. They are part of the Ritz main building. They are smaller than the villas but some members do not want to take their golf carts to the main Ritz building, walk across the bridge to the beach and prefer to be in the main Ritz beachfront building. I have been in both and like the size and the privacy of the villas, but understand why a smaller group may prefer the residences at the Ritz. The agreement with the Ritz and ER was that they would sell their units once the villas were built. They were able to get an extension until January 2009, but who knows, with the current economy, if the Ritz will let them extend it more IF they want to. They currently have two units for sale. I don't know for sure, but ER probably owned only two of the units and leased the others, since only two are for sale. |
