Club: DC4MS.com | SherpaReport is the first to report on a new Ultimate Discovery Membership plan. This provides either 15, 30 or 45 nights of use over a two year period, for one non-refundable upfront "discovery" fee. The prices start at $13,500 for l5 days in Ultimates standard club ($900 per night to stay in $1.5m average homes) to $112,500 for 45 days in Ultimates Elite club ($2,500 per night to stay in $3m average homes). To read the entire report: Get a Taste of Destination Club Membership - SherpaReport To visit Ultimate Resort web site: Ultimate Resort Luxury Destination Club ------------------- It would be really nice if Ultimate Resort ever gets around to updating and fixing their web site....but after several months since I pointed out some flaws, I have no explanation why they have not been fixed. |

Club: Sherpa Report | The prices quoted on SherpaReport are for the new three tier club, which Jim Tousignant presented at Ragatz this week. Cheers |

Club: Ultimate Escapes Signature | That's true, though to be fair, this new plan only allows bookings within a 180 day window (and space available holiday bookings within 30 days). In other words, it's highly unlikely that key holiday periods will be available. Still, a neat feature is that it protects the discovery members from price hikes for a 12 month period if they decide to become full members (a lot like the Private Escapes preview plan). If this works, it's great for UR in helping move what may have been unused inventory. I guess the pricing is what I'm not sure of. It seems the Sherpa figures are half of the one on the UR site, implying that it may be 15 days for two years at that rate (a good deal) not for just those number of dates (a not so good deal). |
