Club: DC4MS.com | Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch (Oct. 23, 1960 - July 25, 2008) gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium. In his moving presentation, "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," Pausch talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals. For more, visit Randy Pausch's Last Lecture - Carnegie Mellon University. With equal parts humor and heart, Carnegie Mellon professor and alumnus Randy Pausch delivered a one-of-a-kind last lecture that moved an overflow crowd at the university — and went on to move audiences around the globe. Randy died July 25 of complications from pancreatic cancer. He was 47. This is an amazing 1 hour and 16 minute lecture and well worth watching. |

Club: Ultimate Escapes-Elite | He was an incredible man with a clear vision to live until he died. His last lecture and the book that was co-written with Jeff Zaslow should be required reading. Tower.com: The Last Lecture (Hardcover) by Jeff Zaslow (Author) |

Club: Distinctive Holiday Homes | I agree, Mr. Pausch was truly an inspirational individual. His last lecture series video was even promoted and used in exec. education materials at HBS, where I first was exposed to it a few months ago. He succeeded in influencing and making millions of people (so far) reflect on what's important in life.
