Club: FS Aviara - HCC?? - what next | Hi Are there many wine geeks on this DC forum? Anyone talk on wine spectator , r parker or cellar tracker forums? What are your names there ( I have no imagination - I use GregGH ) So -- how many DC locations offer wine fridges ? Greg ps - I enjoy Gary Van-ner-chuck --- my fav one was where he torn a hole in Pelee ( they will get better ) - a Cdn winery that is just to the north of my home Canadian Wines From Pelee Island In The Middle Of Lake Erie - Episode #429 Last edited by GregGH; 09-08-2008 at 12:43 PM. Club: High Country Club | I agree. ""Gary Vay-ner-chuck" is quite entertaining. I have ordered quite a few cases from Wine Library. I am a big Pinot Noir fan, but it has been difficult to find anything decent for less than $30 a bottle ever since the "Sideways" movie popularized Pinots. The last year or so, I have been ordering Pinots from a wine shop in Oregon & my guy there has my taste dialed-in quite nicely. |

Club: LUSSO Collection | Glad to see there are other wine geeks here! (self-proclaimed...!) We love the Aspen Food & Wine, and I found out today that Gary will be a part of it in 2009! We typically order from Wine.com or Wine Chateau, but check Wine Library, as well. I have also found this site to be a great reference, and have found some great prices through it: Wine Searcher And, to answer your question, of the LUSSO homes we have been to as of yet: Aspen, Naples and Deer Valley.

Club: Exclusive Resorts | I don't know that I would consider myself a "wine geek", 3dh, but I'm definitely always up for a good bottle. I'm going to have to check out this Wine TV thing. As for the Aspen Food & Wine Festival, you can't beat great wine (and other beverages) in such a beautiful environment!!! |
