Default For you mountain climbers out there!

Those interested in mountain climbing might like to give this one a try. Make sure you click on the 'maximize screen' on the bottom right of the picture frame for the full effect.

El camino del Rey - Brightcove

El Caminito del Rey (The King's pathway) is a walkway, now fallen into disrepair, pinned along the steep walls of a narrow gorge in El Chorro, near lora in Mga , Spain . The walkway has gone many years without maintenance, and is in a highly deteriorated and dangerous state. It is only one meter in width, andover a 700-meter fall, and over time it has also lost its handrail. Some parts of the walkway have completely collapsed and have been replaced by a beam and a metallic wire on the wall. Many people have lost their lives on the walkway in recent years. After four people died in two accidents in 1999 and 2000, the local government closed the entrances. However, adventurous tourists still find their way into the walkway.

The view and the music are almost like being in a video game.

That is an awesome video....what an incredible climb. It reminded me of that old video game called Myst.

Did they close that walkway in 2000 after a tourist died there?

LT ... apparently closing it didn't stop the tourists, as part of my note in the first post:

Not only did I expand the video to full frame on my 24' wide screen monitor, I also cranked the Bose speakers...I actually felt some vertigo kick in when the brave walker starting looking down thru the holes/gaps in the walkway.

round trip across 2 balance beams with camera.

if handheld, impressive juggling, including over barrier.

if rig/harness, thats additional weight/etc.
