Club: Exclusive Resorts | ER's policy: Availability Policy Club Regions are logical groupings of our most popular destinations within geographical proximity (e.g., Hawaii, Mexico and Central America, Central Mountains, and Caribbean). If there are no Club Properties available to fulfill an Advanced Reservation outside 90 days in a requested Club Location in a qualifying Club Region, the Club will take the following actions, in order, at no extra cost to the member: First, the Club will provide a Club Property, if available, located in the applicable Club Region. Second, if no Club Property is available in the applicable Club Region, the Club will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide a comparable property in the Club Location. Third, if no comparable property is available in the Club Location, the Club will provide a comparable property in the Club Region (collectively, the "Availability Policy"). The Availability Policy does not apply to: (i) the Holiday Weeks of Christmas and New Year’s, (ii) reservations for Holiday Weeks booked within 180 days of the date of travel, (iii) unique Club destinations not included within a Club Region (e.g., The World), (iv) Special Events (e.g., the Olympics), and (v) Once in a Lifetime experiences. LOCATIONS THAT ARE NOT PART OF A REGION (Availability Policy does not apply) - The Miraval Spa, Tucson, Arizona - Lake Tahoe, California - Montage, Laguna Beach, California - Whistler, British Columbia, Canada - The World (cruise ship) - Florence, Italy - Tuscany, Italy - Carnegie Abbey Club, Newport, Rhode Island - Kiawah Island, South Carolina - Bovey Castle, Devon, England - French Alps - Las Vegas, Nevada |

Club: LUSSO Collection | Lusso does have a somewhat unique provision (with regard to the destination club scenario) available for its members. One time a year, at any non-holiday time, if a member absolutely has to have a particular week in a particular lifestyle (beach, ski or leisure -- metropolitan is excluded)... the Club will, at their expense, make a comparable property available. According to the membership director, whom I just spoke to, this amenity has never had to be utilized since the inception of the club. This certainly speaks to the access and availability of the club due to its structure.
