Default How to determine the "cost per night" of Destination Club membership

Here is the Steamboat Bill’s Destination Club “Cost per Night Calculation” price breakdown:

Assumptions: 5% lost opportunity of Destination Club membership fee + annual dues / total nights use = cost per night.

I did NOT add the "standard" 20% non-refundable portion of many clubs deposit if you decide to resign from the club. In all fairness, you should consider this in your decision, but this number would be highly variable and decreases each year you are a member.

Some Destination Clubs include some type of equity that grows with your membership, but this is very difficult to calculate, thus I consider that more of a bonus, rather than a decrease in your nightly costs if you decide to resign.
