The advertised rate (asking price...probably able to negotiate) is actually pretty reasonable for New Years week in NYC.

.

I assume this means you cannot book all your nights in a row during prime season ... and that you'd have to make 3 trips a year to the same resort to maximize your nights?

Are there any Fractionals where you can book 2-3 months in a row and not have to leave ... for snowbirds from Canada?

I am not evaluated too many fractionals and most seem to require 2-4 separate weeks, but I have heard of some that offer fixed months.

I really like Fractionals and PRCs, but the lack of trading leaves a lot to be desired. I am also not sold on any "one" location where I want to visit 2-4x per year as there are so many places in the World I have not visited yet.

There is this company that I noticed from an article in Toronto Star article ... Resort Owners Group

They seem to match you and couple of others to make your own fractional - then you can possibly set up the sharing system that could work for all in the group - but you would have to be a good talker to get the winter months for Florida (smile) - more likely to do for west coast or Hawaii where you can find someone from Texas who wants to escape their bad summers while us Cdn's want escape from our winters

BTW --this company ignored an e-mail I sent asking them if they had any plans to be listed in Helium or Sherpa

Greg

ps -- would a Fractional Message Board work here along side the various DC boards ?? or is there yet another message board somewhere that specializes??

there are another 1 or 2 companies that do the same thing as well. i could almost see splitting a really expensive place, but i just like the DC model.

Hello....My name is Robert Edwards I am a Resort Partner at Resort Owners Group - as mentioned in the above post. First allow me to apologize GregGH if you have not yet received a reply to your answer. We are currently exploring both guides you had mentioned and you may see us there in the very near future.
In the interests of proper netiquette I will refrain from gaudily promoting our benefits over some of the others mentioned here, however I invite anyone interested to attend a free webinar (online seminar can be viewed from your computer) to find out more about us. Anyone can PM me or call me directly at 416-534-1916 ext 139 to reserve a spot.
