Default Mixing Destination Club Vacations with Business

When a journalist asked Donald Trump about doing business while playing golf, he responded , “I’ve made some of my best deals on the golf course. When people ask me how I do in the golf business I always ask—with or without the so called business deal? I’ve made some phenomenal deals on the golf
course that I don’t think I would have made over lunch. I don’t think they would have happened.”

My question to him (or anyone else) would be, “What about doing business while on vacation?” Specifically, what about using a Destination Club membership for mixing business along with an invitation to visit one of your Destination Club property?

Lunch is fine, golf is great, but a vacation to a million dollar plus home in a fantastic property would be priceless.

Some of the units that DCs have in NYC and Chicago can be great places for throwing a business specific gathering.

That said, I have conducted business on my yacht. It's amazing what you can get done with....

1. The sun and the water to relax...
2. A couple of drinks
3. No distractions
4. And a captive audience.

Bourne,

Your YACHT !?!?!

You dawg you! I'm extremely jealous! This is a blow to my superficial, self-absorbed ego as I have never owned a YACHT!

Seems like I may have to go back to work just to keep up with the bling factor of my fellow DC4MS posters! Although that would mean cutting back on my travel schedule ....

Several DCs have yachts available to members,
although...um...I can't think of their names off the top of my head

Don't you want to make that available to your fellow "DC4MS club" members?

Any DC4MS member is most welcome to come along for a cruise.

For the record, it is a fractional with Pinnacle Yachts. And compared to the big one's that the DCs have, it is a smallish 34 footer.

I don't know if I'll ever be able to keep up with the people here but I am still working on the much-sought-after SECOND DC MEMBERSHIP. All I need is for a DC to implement a timeshare trade-in program and I'm all in!

Still pretty blingish since it's still your YACHT!

I'll have to see if I can swing a SECOND DC MEMBERSHIP with a DC with Yacht privileges. Maybe then I can keep up the travel schedule and won't have to go back to work to keep up with all you uber-over-achievers.
