Default Resigning a Destination Club Membership by Helium Report

I was "happy" to see an excellent analysis by Helium Report of what happens when a member decides to resign from a destination club.

The destination clubs reviewed were:
Quintess, LRW
Solstice Collection
Lusso Collection
BelleHavens
Exlcusive Resorts
Ultimate Resort
One Key

I was however, "unhappy" that they did not include all of the the following destination clubs, especially High Country Club (#4 club in terms of members).

For the record:
High Country Club's Membership fee is 100% refundable within the first year, 80% refundable thereafter, subject to the Club’s “two-in, one-out” policy. High Country Club: Membership Overview

Either way, Helium Report made a good starting place for getting information on this important issue.

Yeah, I don't get that either. In the articles I've read on Helium (and Sherpa too, maybe?) they seem to have a bias against HCC getting ink (or I guess 1's and 0's in today's digital age). This is odd, especially considering the number of members HCC has, the growth HCC has seen, and the fact that HCC is a founding member of the DCA.

Is it because HCC is the most affordable DC? Or because HCC doesn't advertise on those sites (I don't know if they do or not)? Or just a genuine, yet repeated, oversight?

I have noticed a bias against High Country Club by Helium but not by Sherpa. I don't get this either. It may be because HCC is not flashy and exclusive and therefore doesn't get attention like the High-End clubs?

I just don't get it....High Country Club is the #4 MOST popular destination Club in terms of total members (~320 at of the end of 2007) and may move into the #3 position during 2008 (if they keep up their current grown rate) as Quintess has about 400 members.

I know Helium Report has a few editors that post here, perhaps they can give us an insight into why HCC was left out.

I think that you guys are missing the point; they haven't listed HCC (or PE) because they realize that it is a moot point; no one wants to resign from HCC or PE, so what does it matter what the resignation protocol is???

Worth noting, [Lusso], which topped the 100-member mark earlier this year, reports no resignations.
