| My vote would be a smaller oceanfront home (2bdrm) than a larger place with no view but a pool. Anything wrong with a 'resort' condo beachfront like the St. Regis in Fort Lauderdale for example? |

Club: High Country Club | It all depends on how many people you travel with. For us, a family of 6, we prefer the larger home that is not beach front as long as it is near the beach. My kids are very excited about going to North Carolina because they can each have their own bedroom. Sam |

Club: High Country Club | I'll take the smaller home that is beachfront....like HCC's Turks and Caicos property. |

Club: HCC | Beachfront no doubt! Is that not the point of going to warm and sunny locations....e.g. HCC Playa's units? |

Club: High Country Club | Another vote here for smaller beachfront locations. Ideally for me, the location would be part of a resort-type complex with a great pool also. The larger Outer Banks type houses are a great option for traveling with friends or extended family, but something smaller on the ocean would be more desirable for me for most trips. |

Club: High Country Club | HCC needs a medium to large size Florida home on or very near the beach. Naturally, would like to see both. Perhaps a good compromise would be a 3BR sleeping 8 (including the LR couch) on the beach with pool/hot tub. Also would prefer southern FL - ie; close to airports in FtLaud, St Petes, Miami. Definately not Orlando or Daytona. Please stay HCC only. No mergers!!!! |

We do an annual run to Orlando/Captiva using HGVC points every year. Fly into Ft Myers and fly out of Orlando. The South Seas resort has good options that could be viable.

Club: High Country | I'm glad HCC has some larger options like Punta Mita and the new Outer Banks home, but I'd usually go for smaller beachfront too. |

Club: High Country Club | put me down for larger unit w/ a pool. e.g. The highrises in Bonita Bay (Bonita Springs FL) have access to a private beach. The nearby beach properties are in the ER price range (in fact they are in ER's portfolio) |

Club: High Country Club | I prefer the 2BR beachfront of those two choices, but I think HCC is wise to go with a mix of properties. We are empty nesters, but we do have extended families where the Outer Banks type property is spot on, or on the rare occasion when both our adult daughters travel with us, that 3rd BR is a major plus. |

| HCC could afford to buy beachfront villas (single family) in certain locations.. i added an actual poll, with the exact wording Bourne used. (i probably would have asked more specifically about beachfront vs not, and villas vs condos) |

Club: Ultimate Escapes Signature | Standalone beachfront homes in Florida are probably out of the question, but there are certainly villa deals to be had in places like the West Coast (Marco Island, Sanibel, it'd be too pricey in Naples), and certainly there are plenty of highrise condos in the East coast in places like Hollywood, Sunny Isles, Fort. Lauderdale, Daytona, Miami Beach, Vero Beach where you can get a 2-3 bedroom beachfront condo within the $800k target range. |

Please feel free to change the wording and/or add more options. The idea is to get a feel of DC member's opinion regarding the homes.

Club: High Country Club | Homes per see are not necessary. A private villa or even a condo in a very small development is fine. Perhaps preferred because of shared economics allowing for the purchase of a bigger one. But please, no high rise condos with hundreds of other people and 10 children monopolizing every hot tub. |
