Club: High Country Club, Pinnacle Yachts | I forgot to post it on DC4Ms... Anyone who is considering joining HCC as a member can use me as a referral. The twist is that I will transfer the whole referral amount to you. According to HCC, the transferred referral amount will show up as a credit towards your first year's dues. Why am I doing it. Because I want the club to grow. More members would mean more homes for me to vacation at. ================================================== =============================================== New Member Referral Program In an effort to continue to position High Country Club as the premiere destination club in the $1M home value segment of the destination club industry, the Club has significantly improved its marketing brochure and is excited to get it in the hands of potential members. With over 350 members actively using the club properties, we feel that nobody is more qualified to sell the value of High Country Club than current members. That’s why we are doubling our current member referral program for a limited time. For any referral that joins High Country Club by July 1, 2008, we will credit your annual dues the following amounts. Companion Membership................$2,000 credit Associate membership..................$4,000 credit Affiliate Membership.....................$4,000 credit Private Membership......................$6,000 credit If you have any questions, please contact Heath Kirschner at 303-991-2300 or via email at heath@highcountryclub.com. Again, thank you for all of your continued support! Last edited by Bourne; 07-01-2008 at 05:31 PM. |

| Bourne, I am looking into HCC and something like this might seal the deal for me. How do we go about it? Is HCC involved? Thanks |

Not that anything will go wrong, but I am just covering my ***. ![]() 1. Based on past experience, the credit is transferred towards annual dues only. 2. The numbers posted above are officially valid till today. It may be the same going forward. 3. HCC reserves the final right to transfer the credit. Hope this might help you seal the deal.

I just don't want to see people referring members just so they get a referral fee (a hard way to make a living). For the record, Bourne has been an active and valuable members here and anyone considering joining a DC would benefit from speaking directly with a member such as Bourne or others here. This website is about sharing experiences and trip reports and also give a non-DC member an opportunity to hear directly from members. Hopefully, people here will not abuse PMs or referral credits or think of this site as a way to solicit non-members.

Club: High Country Club | I'm one who took advantage of Bourne's generous offer. I was sitting on the fence and the offer sealed the deal for me. What a guy....and, yeah, I'm all for naming a HCC property after him, like "the Bourne house" in Winter Park (the location of my first HCC trip). |

My issue is that YOU got a BETTER deal than I personally think you should have. I don't mind the 1 week members, as long as they are not allowed a 12 month reservation. We have already beaten that topic to death and it is up to HCC management to determine if they want to keep it or change it. I have no hard feelings, but I am selfish in terms of my HCC usage and want less competition at the 12 month mark. Once the clock hits the 6 month mark, then bombs away and may the fastest mouse clicker win.

Club: High Country Club | Steamboat, I don't think you're selfish. Just like any consumer, you're just trying to get the most out of the money you spend on this club. As for me, I have to ask why the companion level, after paying the most deposit/annual due per night, is the only level not allowed to buy extra night at $250/night. Talking about unfair treatment..... Last edited by holycow; 07-03-2008 at 07:55 AM. |

Club: High Country Club | Thanks Bourne!! After 6 months of research and MANY discussions with membership directors at various clubs, we finally took the leap thanks to your generosity and joined HCC at the associate level. We were most impressed with Heath and the very laid back, unsalesman-like approach. We also felt that he was being very honest and upfront with us which was not the feeling we had from other clubs. We are a young couple without kids and would be happy to let others know why we felt more comfortable with HCC (besides Bourne's very generous offer!) after all of our research!! We can't wait to book our first trip! |
