Club: High Country Club, Pinnacle Yachts | For those who like to keep a count, HCC has 325+ members now. This year may be a bit slow due to market conditions. Still, I am hoping that they scrape through the 400 mark by the end of the year. I am not sure how they are treating Maui and Steamboad additions. Would these be one off unique cases or part of "One property per 6-8 full memberships" Also, the calculation of a full membership may have changed. It may not be Associate *2 = Affitialte *2 = Private as the number of days do not match like they used to last year. |

Club: High Country Club | The current membership level and high summer season property occupancy is driving a near term surge in HCC property acquisitions. I spoke with Casey this evening about remaining punch list items at the OBX property. I stayed there last weekend (I haven't composed the promised review yet - but other than A/V equipment issues and a few nitpicks, I can say it will be very favorable). Before we hung up, he did give me a recap of property acquisition activity and recent potential targets. Until they are official, and some are either/or situations, I don't want to get some people's hopes up or dash others, but I think Casey would be comfortable with me going this far. 1. Finally have gotten the Costa Rica property closing issue behind them, expect initial lottery and reservation announcement very soon. 2. Probably weeks away from an announcement on second NYC property contract - don't know when available 3. Due to market conditions HCC is seeing a lot of bang for the buck in Florida and are looking at a lot of possibilities - no surprise there 4. HCC is responding to growing East Coast property location demand, and besides Florida, NYC continue to evaluate actively international beach destinations in the Caribbean, including Eastern Mexican coast properties. Casey didn't mention it, but I would think the value for the buck in CA continues to improve as well and some of the previously announced areas of interest there will be covered sometime in 2008 (my speculation). I forgot to ask him about anything happening in Chicago. |

In a hurry and I will post a link later. There is a thread out there on TUG or DC4MS which will give you a "type" breakdown up to 300 member count.
