| The size is perfect for my needs as an empty nester but I wonder if it is considered too small by those who like the 4+ bedroom suites? HCC seems to be jumping around on the square footage thingy and I wonder if they are trying to appeal to both ends of the DC market -- those with a half dozen young kids and those where a 2 bdrm suite is almost too big? |

The exception appears to be NYC (and perhaps London/Paris) where several clubs are buying studio and 1 bedroom units as the cost of 2 bedroom units are well over $1m. | |

Club: High Country Club | Although I'm sure there is no perfect size, a 3BR or 2BR with foldout couch is normally perfect for our family of 5. We would also want at least once a year to travel with family, so a 4BR or larger (like outer banks) is also desired. But it looks like the Tahoe bed configuration assumes two couples (king and queen). In a 2BR, we'd always prefer a king and two doubles. Not that one family matters for beans, but we'd probably never use Tahoe as a result. Please note that this is specifically NOT A COMPLAINT. It is impossible to please all the people all the time, and we understand that. We are very happy with HCC!!!! |

Club: ER, HCC Corporate, DHH Lite, Bud Lite (A few too many) | Most residences are chosen by price, not by size, unless a really good deal comes along (like OBX, Maui, Steamboat) So obviously, some destinations will have smaller residences and others will have larger residences. There will be some variation in price but I think that the average price goal is target. |

Club: A&K Residence Club | The Village at Northstar (location of the HCC condo) is great. Very family friendly. Good restaurants, and everything you need is clustered right there. Northstar is not the best pick if you're an expert skier, but for most others, including most families, it fits the bill. |

Club: High Country | I guess we're on the other side of things. We usually travel with another couple (or two, if the place is larger), so the King and Queen work well for us. Otherwise, there's always the question of who has to have the room with the double beds (or twins in some of the rooms). When it comes down to it though, everyone is happy being in a beautiful place - so it's not a big deal in our case. |

Club: High Country | I totally agree with you, Vineyarder! Just have slight feelings of guilt... So far, we've taken the large bed unless the guests are our parents. |

Club: High Country Club | I spoke with Heath about the bedding issues at Lake Tahoe and other 2 bedroom locations and he said that they try to offer a variety of bedding options at all their locations and there is no specific standard option as he stated half the members want a KB + QB for a two bedroom and half like a KB + 2 Twins. He also stated that there is a sleeper sofa in most properties. Of course this is a non-issue for places like Outer Bank NC. |
