Looks great. Is this one leased or was it purchased by HCC?

Looks very nice and the location seems to be much better than the previous home. From the link provided by Tedpilot it looks like the property was being offered for sale only...

I don't know if purchased or leased. You know these real-estate types...any deal that has great terms is the best way to go. I'd like to think they purchased it so their ratio increases but I'm sure we'll find out in the oming days/weeks.

My broth in law just sent me some stats on Breckenridge. Prices are on the rise so hopefully they bought!

When I talked to HCC about 1 month ago, they told me they would be leasing a house in Breckenridge.

I would bet they took a lease with option to buy. $1.6 million is above budget. They were replacing a trophy home which had many reservations on the books so I think that they had to get something nice. The Cancun home was probably within budget, though a 4 bedroom beachfront, around $850,000.

Will this property replace the current Breck Lodge Property? If so, does anyone know when the transition will take place? We have a reservation set for Feb 09 and was curious whether HCC would just replace the reservation with this new home.

You mentioned in your other post that you've been away from the forum for awhile. You obviously missed this re the original Breck Lodge property: HCC Breckenridge, Colorado Home Update

This new lodge is in the same neighborhood as the house that HCC put us up in when we were denied access to the old lodge in July. The neighborhood is really nice and very close to both town and the slopes. It backs up to a beautiful new high dollar development and to a large wilderness area that includes the Nordic trails. Bravo to HCC for picking the perfect location.

Perhaps no draperies but did I notice a nice pair of women's shoes for you in the one photo?
