It is for sea for one day and then stops in Trabzon (Turkey, Black Sea) and then in Sochi ("Russian Riviera") and then you have to get off. Not much to do after you get off there. Istanbul is great but I am not that interested in going north into the Black Sea The problem with The World is that you have to fly to one destination and fly back from another, which is sometimes difficult, and they do not stop at many destinations, so if you are on for only a week, it is like a hotel on the water and not necessarily the best location in town and only have two and at best three stops. I would have preferred the week they were cruising from Turkey to Greece, and then west but didn't win that lottery. The ship will be in Miami on November 19. Perhaps you can get a chance to see it. |
