SPI Software to Assist Portofino Destinations Club

Miami, FL – June 2007 – According to Ron Tapp, CEO of Portofino Destinations Club, SPI’s Private Residence/Destination Club software will greatly enhance the club’s customer service and back-office efficiency. "Our Member Services department is especially enthusiastic about the Internet tools we are giving our members, since it will reduce the number of calls they need to handle," states Tapp. SPI’s software will track and control the club’s membership rules, privileges and usage, giving members Internet access to be able to check availability, reserve vacation accommodations and make online payments, including maintenance fees.

SPI Director of Sales Matt Brosious adds, "Portofino Destinations Club’s membership plan is stratified into three different levels, the Continental, Portofino and Signature Collections, each having different privileges and usage rights, which must be tracked and controlled. Each member’s visit is customized on an individual level that encompasses every imaginable detail, such as bar and kitchen provisioning, theatre tickets, restaurant reservations, personal chef and butler services, special equipment (such as playpens or wheelchairs), shopping at exclusive designer boutiques and spa arrangements. SPI’s software can track an unlimited number of items using tables, which can then be associated with records, such as members’ preference information, accounts receivable, marketing and so on."
